Stanley Lake Residence Remodel

dining room 2This Arvada, Colorado residence was built in the early 1990’s – built just to the south of gorgeous Stanley Lake. The present owner had taken beautiful care of the home, had recently updated the kitchen, stripped and refinished the wood flooring, and decided it was time to update and do a face lift on the rest of her home! The owner, who is a fun, lively, caring and overall outstanding lady, wanted her home to be more light and modern and more suitable for entertaining friends and family. The dark burgundy, hunter green and yellows in the home had seen its day, and she was ready for something new!

We tackled each room, creating mood boards for the new color palates and finish selections and we really tried to create an environment that she would love to live and entertain in. She has a  fantastic collection of Thomas Mangleson artwork that we incorporated to keep her home feeling like “home”.

The rooms we did refinishes in were the south facing sun room, her fireplace room where she does a lot of entertaining, the dining room, the master bedroom, the master bathroom, and the upstairs guest bath.

The master bath was a total gut and remodel. The bathroom was outdated with oak cabinets, old white and blue tile, brass fixtures, a unused jacuzzi tub, and yellow paint. The space has a gorgeous skylight and a window, so there is lots of natural light in the bathroom, which made this remodel easy! We decided to move the shower to give space for a larger spa shower. We designed the shower with a rain-shower head, body sprays, and a dual shower head. We selected new tile for the walls, with accent mosaic tile, new flooring tile

Check out these fun before and after photos below! I am in love with how her home turned out!
